Haha.. i just visited this city on the way back from National Service Camp ast Sauk, Kuala Kangsar to visit our daughter there, and indeed did remarked to my other half and other kids how Ipoh is sidestepped by the North South Highway.
I also related to them how more narrower the highways in the 80s when i used to travel around.
